Picture a day in May, Day 4: Simple Pleasures: Reaching a goal with one little piece.

Over at Chocolate on my Cranium, every Thursday is Simple Pleasures day.  Today my Simple pleasure is...well, simple! It is reaching a goal for the month already.  I finished my 1000 piece puzzle (finally) and putting in the last piece was like a small victory.  I thought for sure a couple of pieces would have been lost or eaten by Sadie, but they were all there and it made me so happy to finish it.  What is your simple pleasure today?

    I used to do puzzles with my dad at Christmas time when I was younger. Now with little ones, there is no way to even get one out with it getting spread all over the place. Congrats on finishing. I think finishing something helps us to do more...become more...you know what I mean?

    We haven't done a puzzle here for ages, but they used to be a big part of our Christmas traditions. I'll have to resurrect puzzling.

    I hate puzzles...they take forever! :) You are amazing to have the patience it takes to complete something that big!

    We have the tradition of doing puzzles from Christmas to New Year's. It is so much fun! Good for you for getting it done with all the pieces there.
