It is hard to pack for 18 months! The only thing their apartment has (besides furniture, thank goodness!) is plates and silverware. So while Papa repacked, Nee played with Jake and..
..and cuddled with her four legged grandchild.
I love the pictures you took of our car. It's hard to believe that we got 18 months worth of stuff in there.
ReplyDeleteWhen we arrived at our apartment in Washington we found a nice surprise...a huge box full of pots and pan...Wolfgang that included 2 large fry pans, 1 small one, 3 different size pots with covers and a large stewing pot, and cooking utensils too. Of course, I brought pots and pans. I just put mine in the closet because the ones they are letting us use are much nicer than ours.
Now...as far as the plates and cups that were left for us?....2 plates, 2 bowls, and 3 glasses. Glad we brought the 2 nice soup bowls you gave us for Christmas.
We stopped in Salt Lake City before entering the MTC and bought scriptures for each of us and a few other things....I had to hold them on my lap. Dad reorganized everything before we left the MTC for Washington and we had plenty of room for the books.
