I am so excited about an awesome give away!

I am trying desperately to win a free session with an awesome photographer that I know and I thought I would be nice and give you all a chance to win too! She is the best photographer and an awesome person! Check out her blog (sorry I don't know how to make it a link...I am kind of lacking in the computer skills area...) As if most of you don't know exactly who I am talking about!

  1. Hey girl-

This is sort random, it's about the Laundry soap. I did make it. I have liked it for the most part. The olny down side is I think Imight need a white-brightener though, it doesn't seem to get whites really bright( and as you know we havea lot of whites).

But otherwise, the clothes smell good and it seems to works well.

My sister makes this too. Her husband has laundry detergent allergies, and this seems to work without bothering him. I also read that it is good for people with allergies. So it is worth a try at least. And if you end up not liking it, you just have some extra cleaners to try elsewhere(Or a storage item- for emergencies, year supply type). You can use the borax in the dishwasher for example, with some baking soda equal parts if you run out of dishwasher deteregent.

If you try it, here is one thing I learned -Gett the 4 cups of water boiling on the stove, then in a large bucket, add the 3 gallons of water, borax and laundry baking soda. Then you are ready to grate the soap. A food processor to grate the soap is like a dream come true, then just boil it in the water on the stove add it to the large bucket stir and you are done- wait one day and its ready to use! (the key was the food processor!! using that I was able to make this in about 10 minutes flat, then you just let is sit overnight!)

Sorry about the super long comment! Good luck!
